Jesus and I just hate it when the diner just off the interstate is closed for any reason.

- After many years teaching writing with teens and then preparing new teachers, Carol Mikoda is now retired and writing much more poetry. Her work has appeared in New Feathers Anthology, Grief Becomes You, Capsule Stories, HOLYFLEA!, Children, Churches, & Daddies, and Acta Victoriana; she also has two chapbooks, While You Wait, and Wind and Water, Leaf and Lake; a third, Outside of Time, will be released by Kelsay Books in fall 2025. I bet the diner has the best bacon strips around and is closed for Christmas 🤔

The story first, lol seems there may of been a miracle at the diner . Maybe a Christmas miracle?
